Michael Koch founded his firm in 2003 after ten years of working in a variety of architecture firms and on projects world wide.  After graduating from Yale University in 1996, Michael has built a career balancing his designer’s eye with his real world attention to detail.  His portfolio of projects shows a wide range from large commercial projects to small residential additions.  Throughout his career, Michael’s attention to detail and ability to facilitate the process add a distinctive value to the making of architecture.  He values service to the client equally with design quality, with a strong leadership voice on the design team.

Koch developed a market niche in several building types:  Parking Structures, Historic Residential Remodels, and Commercial Tenant finish.  That client base has expanded recently to include restaurants, schools and institutional clients, with complex programs.  The firm has designed, measured or been involved in over 1M square feet of commercial tenant finish space, designed twelve multi-level parking structures with over 16,500 stalls and designed over 40 residential remodels and additions.  The firm completes 1-2 parking structures and 20-30 tenant interior projects per year.

CASSANDRA COVOTSOS

Cassandra Covotsos joined as principal in 2018.  After eight years with the firm and passing the architectural examination in 2017, Covotsos has brought fresh eyes for design and a new passion to the firm.  She is principal in charge for restaurant and custom residential projects and is helping to mentor staff and expand the reach of the firm into new areas of expertise.  In particular, she has had recent success with custom residential, kitchen and laboratory uses, restaurant design, tenant finishes and building relationships with the City of Denver
