Neighborhood coffee shops are so important to building community and creating gathering spaces and this project is no different. Located in the heart of Congress Park, this project was to update an old pastry style kitchen into a fully functioning kitchen, including a grease hood, grease trap and modern kitchen equipment. We were happy to partner with French Press who has a number of local stores and a good working prototype for building a kitchen from scratch. We exposed the building historic materials, brick, wood, plaster, and updated the kitchen to current health code.
